How to read your own Aura using a mirror.

I tried this myself today, and it worked!  It was pretty dead on!  There is nothing to fear except your own mind.  If you try this, please comment and let me know how it went.

1. First, it's best if you don't use your usual mirror.  I used a spare one we have in the bedroom.
   
2. Say a quick (or long, if you like!) prayer and ask your guardian angels to be with you.  I asked for my grandma to come be with me during this.  I started to cry and told her how much I missed her.  I got chills all over my body and Lennon ran into the room, talking and laughing.  I wonder if he saw her.  She used to come to him all the time when he was just born!
   
3. I chose not to play music or light candles during this, because my nerves would have gotten the best of me!  You can if it makes you more comfortable!  Nothing too distracting though!
   
4. Set the mirror about 1/4 away from your face.  Take a deep breath and make sure you have nothing but positive energy in your mind.  After about 10 seconds of staring deep into my own eyes, I felt my heart lift.  A small olive green ring was starting to show in my pupil.  I continued to stare, and I admit, I was getting sucked into my own eyes.  I liked what I saw, and was getting hypnotized by the way it made me feel.  Not in any vain way, but I was kind of afraid that I would be disgusted with what I saw inside my soul.
   
5. You MAY see a white haze!  I did, don't let it break your stare.  It's your aura starting to form!
   
6. Then, you may start seeing your color.  I was starting to feel my adrenaline pumping and my color was wavering in and out.  It was a very light pink at first, then it turned overall peachy orange.  After seeing my color for about 10 seconds, I was able to stop.  It's beyond me how I kept my eyes open for so long.
   
   I did have thoughts of a snake popping out of the mirror and into my face, but I know it was just negative forces not wanting me to grow stronger spiritually.  If you have these too, ignore them!  You're winning, and they don't like that.  My pineal gland was THROBBING afterwards, so if your pineal gland is open, expect it to throb!
   
   Here's what my color(s) means!
   Pink: love (in a spiritual sense). Pink Aura indicates that the person achieved a perfect balance between spiritual awareness and the material existence. The most advanced people have not only a yellow halo around the head (a permanent strong point in the Aura) but also a large pink Aura extending further away. The pink color in the Aura is quite rare on Earth and appears only as a temporary thought, never as a strong point in the Aura.
   Orange: uplifting and absorbing. Inspiring. A sign of power. Ability and/or desire to control people. When orange becomes a strong point, it usually contributes to a yellow halo, which then becomes gold, indicating not only a spiritual teacher, but a powerful spiritual teacher, someone capable of demonstrating his/her unique abilities. Orange thought is a thought about exercising power or a desire to control people.
   
   My pink was VERY light.  I'm very spiritual and I have good balance, but I can always grow!  My orange was pretty correct.  I am definitely a bit controlling and if you truly know me and my heart, you know it's dead on. :)

Biblical Manipulation, Lost in Translation?

Upon doing some research on the internet, I found out some interesting information on the word "witchcraft".  I snipped this article from http://truthmagazine.com/archives/volume15/TM015091.html .  I personally do not condone black magick, and this blog post is not in favor of such a thing.  It's merely to open your eyes to the truths of this world.  I have colored the main parts red, just in case you are a skimmer reader like myself!  Now, don't get me wrong, I take medicine from time to time.  It's my personal belief though, that more medicine KEEPS you sick instead of helping you.

Have you ever heard the phrase, "The money's in the medicine, not the cure"?  Makes every bit of sense when you read this article, and know who's behind "big pharma".  Ps:  Don't get flu shots, people.

"Paul in his epistle to the Galatians enumerated a concise list of the works of the flesh. Contained in that list is the Greek word, pharmakeia. The King James scholar translated pharmakeia as "witchcraft" but a more probable rendering is that of "sorcery" and is so given by the American Standard Version. Sorcery is far closer to the meaning of the term. Pharmakeia (sorcery) is a form of the Greek root from which we get our English words pharmacy, pharmacist, and pharmaceutical. Pharmakeia (sorcery) fundamentally has to do with drugs or medicine. Originally the word was used only in the sense of medicine. Plato talked about the different kinds of medicinal treatment: cautery, incision, the use of drugs (pharmakeia), and even starvation. (Plato, Protagorus 354a). In the beginning, pharmakeia was a medical term; it had to do with the proper use of drugs. Later pharmakeia took on an entirely different meaning. The learned William Barclay says that pharmakeia began "to denote the misuse of drugs, that is, the use of drugs to poison and not to cure. So we read about the law regarding poisoning (Plato, Laws 933 B), and Demosthenes accuses a bad man of poisoning and all kinds of villainy (Demosthenes 40.57). This is the beginning of the bad use of the word" (Flesh And Spirit, p. 36) In the New Testament, pharmakeia carried with it the idea of sorcery, occultism, and black magic. It is in this sense that Paul used the term in Galatians 5.20. The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia clearly points out that "since the ideas we attach to 'witch' and 'witchcraft' were unknown in Bible times, the words (witch and witchcraft) have no right place in our' Eng. Bible..." (p. 3097). When Paul spoke of pharmakeia (witchcraft KJV) he certainly did not have in mind witches on broomsticks, black cats, and silly superstitions. The Apostle was speaking of sorcery -- the evil abuse of drugs. The Greek scholar, W.E. Vine summarized the different uses of pharmakeia in his Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words. Said Vine of pharmakeia: "primarily signified the use of medicine, drugs, spells; then, poisoning; then sorcery." It is at this point the dark and grim fact of pharmakeia emerges. Pharmakeia literally is the abuse of drugs coupled with the occult. Pharmakeia is a chain connecting drug addiction with sorcery!" (end snip)

Chakras

The basic principle of the 7 chakras (which is the Sanskrit word for "wheel", or "turning") is that these points can receive & transmit energy.  For example, when you feel like your heart is broken, it seems like all of your energy from other places is draining, just so you can function through the day.  It's not just in your mind.  These points are great forces of power, hopefully you can learn to control and utilize them well!  This is just my quick notes on chakras, if you'd like to delve deeper into it, by all means, go for it!

Crown: Pure consciousness, connected to the central nervous system.

Brow/Third Eye:  Ever heard the term, "Third Eye never lies"??  I say it alot myself, because mine has always been open, as far back as I can remember, and I can smell lies a mile away.  Connected to the pineal gland, which is incredibly important if you're a truth seeker like myself.  More about your pineal gland in another post!

Throat:  Relates to communication & growth through expression.  Parallel to thyroid

Heart:  Doesn't need much explanation, but in Tibetan Buddhism it is said that this chakra is responsible for carrying your soul into your next life.  Emotionally it governs unconditional love, mentally it governs passion, and spiritually it governs devotion.

Solar Plexus: Related to digestion.

Sacral: Obviously it deals with one's sexual urges, relationships, reproduction & perversions.  This is also sometimes known as the "secret wheel".

Root: Equates to basic human potential/survival.  Located in the perineum, which is in-between the anus & genitals.  Also related to the genetic code/dna & the kundalini.

Technology.

Life.

Isn't it complex? 

Sometimes I wish life were easier.  Almost as if technology never got to where it is.  There was a period over the summer where I felt like I should almost go join a commune, or an Amish group.  Needless to say I didn't, but I am absolutely envious of those who haven't gotten "sucked into the matrix", so to say.

On the other hand, I love technology.  Without it, I wouldn't love the music I love.  The music that helped me through hard times & connected me with friends all over the world via internet.  It wouldn't have given me the laughs and sense of humor I picked up from my favorite tv shows.  Without it, I wonder, would my eyes and heart truly be open?

Technology is getting too big too fast though.  When the original droid came out I paid $$$ for it because I loved the phone's features.  A few months later it was replaced with a cooler phone.  I still have the original droid, because I am not falling for that bs again.  Consumerism & Technology go hand in hand.

Edited at 6:52pm to add: Something happened today that showed me how great technology can truly be. I had a skype session with my 2 oldest online buddies.  We haven't done that in nine or ten years.  I can't wait until next time, it lit a light in my heart that I really needed to feel.
